Things worked out well. We arrived, finally, in Southern California. Sorry for the lack of drama, but, we’re pretty cautious people.
Here’s (most) of the 2400 miles.
There’s a little jog north and east of Las Vegas. That reflected a trip into the Gold Butte National Monument.
That’s our truck, all alone, in the desert heat.
It was amazing.
We’re now safely ensconced outside LA. A stark contrast from Gold Butte.
The heat was, of course, insane. We sheltered in the rocks to stay out of the sun while trying to take in the immensity of the view. We failed at both activities.
