I saw some blog posts with two sentences from a book in process.

"By the ninth body, Garland was having trouble seeing the world he was walking through. The chant and the fire were consuming what he was and forging him into something new.”

There’s more further on in the scene, but I’m partial to this because it’s the beginning, not the worst part of the problem.

As fun as fiction is, I do have non-fiction chapter deadlines. Chapter 8 of Book III of Tales of the Red Ranger will move forward slowly until I can finish the non-fiction.
